SUMMER READING |
Our department utilizes Google Classroom for daily and weekly assignments. Google Classroom allows students to access their assignments, view handouts, and submit work. Students can access their Google Classroom account from any computer or mobile device. They may even download the free app! As teachers we love Google Classroom, as it allows us to access student work, provide feedback, submit grades, and track student progress. For most assignments, students will turn in their work using this site. This ensures student work is not lost or late.

Weekly Homework:
Students each week will be reading (2 hours outside of class) under the Notebook tab you will find the reading chart to help them meet their goal.
Students will also be writing 2 pages a week (or typing 500 words). This can be about anything and everything! We are working on producing volume! Students can extend a quick write (we do one almost daily in class) or tell a story, write poems or even a play by play of their sporting event the night before.
